It was yesterday when American Idol revealed the Top 12. Four contestants were out leaving us with 12 contestants still standing. Next week these guys will be performing in a big stage in front of a bigger audience and a Rolling Stones theme. That’s right, the Top 12 hopefuls will be performing songs by Rolling Stones. To me, that already sounds exciting since there are a lot of great classics from the Stones, but we’ll see. It was also surprising that a strong contestant like Lily Scott loose the battle to a very inconsistent Katie Stevens but that’s how it goes around here. Mallorie Haley is that chic who did “Piece of My Heart” and a country twang makes her a complete eye candy to the judges, Simon even called her ‘Fearless’. The blonde haired beauty is from South Dakota and a sort of a ‘Carrie Underwood’ reminiscence to her. Check out the videos and pictures of her. Anyone of you remember her? She’s coming from the Boston audition (she’s based in Middlebury, Connecticu). That 16 year old girl taking care of her Grand Mother, who is suffering from Alzheimer’s disease? Yeah, she’s one of the best bets at this point. Other info you’d like to know is that she’s the first runner up at Miss Teen Connecticut last year and won Westbury’s Outstanding Teen. Great voice as usual. We’ve gone thru with the good auditioners in these first two episodes of American Idol 9, now maybe it’s about time to pick up the… well, those that are something different. They might be good or they might be bad, it’s your call. This happens long ago with Alexis Cohen (rip), but that didn’t happen in front of the judges (I think). So this time, you’ll get a load of attitude problems floating up the air. If you ask me, my pick is Lamar Royal. This guy can’t sing but he believes he can and wouldn’t agree with the judges. It’s like: “are you serious?” lol that’s classic! Andrew can somehow sing, it is his arrogance that didn’t make him thru. Great one indeed!
