American Idol aired their 19th episode for this 9th Season and the girls are back in taking the stage first. There are eight girls left, so expect (or not expect) only the best performance since this is a very crucial stage for each contestants. I think in this episode, the highlights were Didi Benami, Crystal Bowersox, and Lily Scott. Siobhan was doing ok, of course, but she’s not a real stand out this night.
American Idol is moving on with it’s second elimination for season 9 (2010) and they’re sending another four contestants home tonight. Leaving this night is John Park, Jermaine Sellers, Michelle Delamor and Haeley Vaughn. These contestants doesn’t surprise me at all. What’s up with Michelle? It seems that the judges keep on praising her rendition of Creed’s “With Arms Wide Open”. I think people just don’t get that, since the normal folks view things differently with the judges, so Michelle goes home tonight.
American Idol team switched the schedules. They’ve moved the boys to perform by Tuesday Night, and moved the girls by Wednesday Night. This is because Crystal Bowersox was hospitalized due to diabetes complications. This is temporary though. Next week, things will be back in its regular schedules. OK, so with the boys performing tonight isn’t a change of plan just because the girls went first last week (Tuesday). This is because, Crystal Bowersox was hospitalized and couldn’t perform for this night. Regular schedule will get back next week, with the girls on Tuesday and Boys on Wednesday, or what do I know?! American Idol aired the first elimination round for Season 9 and we got Four Idol hopefuls sent home. This might shock fans, since we knew that everybody got their own favorite already. However, I think the elimination is all about judging the contestants on how well are they doing during the singing competition. So for this result, I think everything went right – except for Tim Urban vs Joe Munoz maybe, but that’s just me. Here are the first 4 eliminated contestants: Janell Wheeler, Joe Munoz, Ashley Rodriguez and Tyler Grady.
This night on American Idol, we will be watching how well these boys can do. Last night seems to be a struggling night for the girls, so what about this night? The buzz on the Male Contestants weren’t as noisy as Didi Benami’s ‘Terrified’ or Crystal Bowersox’s ‘Natural Woman’, but on the girls night – these two girls didn’t impressed the judges that much. American Idol aired the first voting episode and we got the girls to first take the stage. It was a bit disappointing to see this episode since, to those who are familiar on the previous episode, we knew that the girls are seems to be doing great in this season. With only two girls getting a positive fullhouse, this seems to be failure. Not to mention that the judges were very sharp tonight. Maybe this has something to do with the upcoming departure of Simon Cowell on the show. Radny Jackson and Kara DioGuardi are both seem to be giving real constructive criticism tonight.
