Kristin ChenowethAmerican Idol guest judge (Orlando auditions), Kristin Chenoweth, recently told People Magazine that it aint easy being a judge in American Idol. “It was harder than I thought because you really do have to look into the faces of people and say yes or no”, “I don’t like to be a bummer and hurt anyone’s feelings.” Kristin said. She’s hoping that contestants will be getting benefits from the feedback she’d given to them despite of her personal discomfort.

SIMON FULLERSimon Fuller, 49, known as the creator of ‘American Idol’, is said to be stepping down as the executive of the show. He’s planning to start his own show entertainment production company, left CKX Inc., the company, which owns a majority stake in Elvis Presley’s Graceland mansion, reports Contactmusic. Other than this, the said TV producer has also sold 19 Entertainment, a firm in which he founded in 1985 to CKX for 500 million dollars last 2005. At the moment he is taking part in the new TV talent show and soon to be joining the notorious blogger Perez Hilton in searching for a new boy band!

So we got this news that Simon was offered an enormous $100 million to remain on the show’s judging panel. A few more reports about this even stated that the amount is a bit higher that what it is now. Like $44 million higher. Doing the math that’s about $144 million!! However though, it seems that Simon already got this mindset of leaving American Idol and bring ‘The X-Factor’ to the United States. Maybe that’s important to him than a paycheck. I couldn’t imagine American Idol without Simon but who knows… for a two day run of the show without Paula Abdul, it all seem to look fine to me.

PAULA ABDULWell, after two days of airing American Idol: Boston and Atlanta auditions, we can see that Paula Abdul is not in there anymore? Instead we’ve seen Victoria Beckham and Mary J Blige filling up the seat. What’s with this now? Did you miss Paula? Or is it only that ‘nostalgic’ feeling you got making you miss her. I’m not saying that I didn’t miss Paula in the show, too bad she’s not there anymore, but let’s face it: These two episodes were really good! I think Paula’s absense wasn’t felt that much as long as we got a good replacement, like Mary J Blige as far as I see it. Looking forward on the show with Ellen DeGeneres.

AMERICAN IDOL SEASON 9Alright, I’ve no idea about any other time zones, but that is either in the morning or in the evening. The fact is that American Idol returns this Tuesday – 13th of January 2010 and everybody is simply anxious to catch the first episode of the 9th season! How time flies, right? Last night FOX did a Season 8 marathon and wow, that doesn’t seem like seven months ago – and now we’re here for the 9th season! I think everyone here is excited how the new judge, Ellen Degeneres, will go. But that’s not all, other guest judges includes Victoria Beckham, Mary J. Blige, Kristin Chenoweth, Neil Patrick Harris, Joe Jonas, Avril Lavigne, Katy Perry, and Shania Twain.

Other surprises includes the appearance of guest judges as Victoria Beckham, Shania Twain, Mary J Blige, and… well, Joe Jonas! This guy can’t sing himself but invited as a guest judge, makes sense to me!
