Alright, I’ve no idea about any other time zones, but that is either in the morning or in the evening. The fact is that American Idol returns this Tuesday – 13th of January 2010 and everybody is simply anxious to catch the first episode of the 9th season! How time flies, right? Last night FOX did a Season 8 marathon and wow, that doesn’t seem like seven months ago – and now we’re here for the 9th season! I think everyone here is excited how the new judge, Ellen Degeneres, will go. But that’s not all, other guest judges includes Victoria Beckham, Mary J. Blige, Kristin Chenoweth, Neil Patrick Harris, Joe Jonas, Avril Lavigne, Katy Perry, and Shania Twain.
Looks like it’s about to crash TV screens soon! Yes folks, the ninth season is at hand and it’s just about three more sleepless nights and American Idol 9 will be here. What to expect? Well, to those who still have no idea, Paula Abdul already leaves the show and is replaced by Ellen DeGeneres. Can’t wait for that part alone! Other surprises includes the appearance of guest judges as Victoria Beckham, Shania Twain, Mary J Blige, and… well, Joe Jonas! This guy can’t sing himself but invited as a guest judge, makes sense to me!
American Idol judge, Randy Jackson talks about the upcoming 9th season of American Idol and here are the things that he’s able to say. “Usually, whoever comers in first or second, that next season of auditions, you have a lot of those kinds of people, it didn’t happen like that this time.” SO maybe we are about to see real contestants this time, not recycled ones (ie: the rejected flukes from previous season). Jackson also added: “We got a very interesting, very unique cast that’s only unique to season nine”, sounds interesting already!
Somewhat related news, former American Idol contestant (a fourth placer in season 7), Jason Castro broke hearts worldwide by tying the knot. The lucky girl is Mandy Mayhall. The 22-year-old singer/songwriter tied the knot in a hometown wedding on Saturday, near Dallas, Texas. Following to this occasion, it was confirmed via Jason’s twitter account saying: “Yesterday I married the girl of my dreams… It couldn’t have been more perfect! Now, honeymoooon!!!” aside from all of these, there are no more information posted.
Ryan Seacrest, is now getting ready for the upcoming return of the most watched TV show in the world, American Idol. If you’re regularly watching the show, you’ll know that Ryan and Simon Cowell were great buddies. What is Ryan Seacrest’s statement regarding Simon leaving the show for the American version of X-Factor? Here is what he said: ”As far as I know, those are just rumors…He has not told me anything about leaving the show.” We’ll see how it all turns out…
Ok, so I think it’s been confirmed (or it isn’t?) that Simon Cowell will be leaving American Idol to be doing the X-Factor. Just in case this happens, who is the right guy to replace Simon Cowell. That seems to be really a big shoes to fill. The last man on the judging panel should be at least, not afraid to tell the contestants how bad they sing, got a record of making someone a complete big star!
