The live shows on American Idol haven’t even kicked off yet and already there is drama. Simon Cowell addressed reports of arguments between he and Ellen DeGeneres, who he’d like to replace him next season and how much he really misses Paula Abdul.
An instant controversy was created when rumors started that American Idol’s departing Simon Cowell might be replaced by Sirius XM radio host Howard Stern. Everyone from the ladies on The View to Cowell himself has questioned whether Stern has what it takes to be a judge on American Idol but hey’ve all got the question wrong.
Last Wednesday, American Idol finally named the Top 24 contestants for Season 9. And eventhough that there are a few problems regarding Chris Golightly and Tim Urban, America is getting ready to vote for their favorites now – the world is even more excited to watch this LIVE competition! Yes, it’s gonna be LIVE and all of the contestants fate are now in the hands of the televiewers who are actually do the voting. Vote for your favorite and don’t think he/she is safe. Otherwise they will be packing their bags as early as you thought since they are actually NOT safe. LOL!
When American Idol aired those who are making it to the Top 24, Angela Martin failed to fill any of the said spot. Angela’s been aspiring to make it in American Idol for three times in a row but there are natural causes why she’s stuck in Hollywood Week. In this third attempt, in my opinion only, she got hit by a very hard season. I think that this 9th Season of American Idol got the hardest competition she’s about to face. Be it from Crystal Bowersox to Haeley Vaughn to the rest of these really good singers of Season 9.
American Idol long time judge, Simon Cowell, just recently said that Perez Hilton could replace him on American Idol. Like what I’ve said myself, Perez Hilton is a good choice to take the spot that is soon to be vacated by Simon. But wait, we should try reading what Simon Cowell said himself regarding this. Simon told USAToday.com that “Perez would be funny”, “He’s got good taste in music, he’s got a personality, that could work.” With that kind of words being said, it is clear that Simon Cowell got Perez Hilton’s back in his campaign to take his spot at the judges’ table on American Idol.
Last night, American Idol aired the episode where they are revealing the last names to complete the Top 24. This episode looks strange to me. They’ve announced those who made it but there are two persons that got me confused, mainly Chris Golightly and Tim Urban. If you notice at the end of the show, the blonde curly hair Chris Golightly was there with the other 23 contestants. He is standing at the back of Katie Stevens (I think), but during the ‘dancing top 24′ he is no longer in there. Instead, you’ll see Tim Urban dancing and Chris Golightly missing.
Yesterday, American Idol aired the final round of Hollywood Week and segregate the contestants. Putting them like a helpless sheep in a room. There are three rooms: room 1, 2, and room 3. From the look of things, it seems that Room 1 will be a safe room. Check out the guys inside this room: Andrew Garcia, Katie Stevens, Crystal Bowersox, Tyler Grady, Casey James and Siobhan Magnus. There’s just huge amount of talent in that room! Do you really that think those guys will be cut? We got Room 2, and once again, upon first glance, you know that they’re going home. I mean, c’mon… who’s the bet there? Brian Walker and Jermaine Purifory? On Room 3, well… we know that they MIGHT not be cut since Didi Benami and Janell Wheeler was spotted in there. Now we’re going to the announcement of the next 17 contestants who made it in the Top 24…
