This Ninth Season of American Idol seems to be running so quick and now we’re down to 71 contestants in the Hollywood round. It was also said that they will be announcing those who made it in the Top 24 in this episode. As expected, these 71 American Idol hopefuls were divided and sent into three rooms. This might look confusing since there’s a room which looks shaky but got Angela Martin in there too. If you’re in a room together with Andrew Garcia or Didi Benami, does that mean that you’re safe?? Let’s get down to the show…
Tomorrow night, American Idol will be revealing the said Top 24 contestants who ‘made it’ in the voting stage. New judge, Ellen DeGeneres is certainly doing a good job and bringing a new (and even an improved) production value to the show. Anyway, Fox is bringing a new excitement tomorrow instead of airing the results by Wednesday night (American Idol).
American Idol’s Kara DioGuardi just recently show her smoking body to Maxim Magazine. I guess this already has nothing to do with that ‘Bikini Girl’ in Season 8, or? The singer/songwriter also gave an intie to Maxim Magazine and also did posed for a sexy photo shoot to get all things goin! During the interview, she’s talking mostly about judging contestants in American Idol and the kind of “artist” she is searching to be the next star. She can’t also get away on questions regarding Simon Cowell and his departure on the sow next season. “I have no idea. All I can say is the guy can do things not many folks can get away with, and people like when someone is true to himself,” DioGuardi said.
This is not the first that happens on American Idol, so make sure you’re of ‘clean record’ before auditioning. It wouldn’t be right if you got a chance to be a part of the show but later be forfeited just because of the non-sense you’ve done in the past. This is what happens with Danielle Hayes. If you’ve catch her audition, she wowed the judges including Simon Cowell who actually said that ’she needed a break’. She’s been booted out of the show for there are too many criminal records being attached to her name. That includes possession of marijuana, DUI, threatening to kill her mother, and vandalism. 
So the first two rounds of Hollywood Week (American Idol) is over. I’ve been watching the videos and got three person to really impress me and one group (a trio) during the group performance. The first three person that really stands out among the rest would be Andrew Garcia, Didi Benami, and Crystal Bowersox. Of course, other strong contestants like Katie Stevens, Janell Wheeler, Casey James were in there too. During the group performance, I say that the trio of Janell Wheeler, Jermaine Purifory, and Casey James were doing really great with Neyo’s ‘Closer’. 
For this episode in American Idol, it’s Hollywood Week and this time it is ‘Round Two’. There are 96 remaining contestants and they will be grouped into trios and quartets – it’s Group Day! As expected, everybody is busy rehearsing, maybe the whole night. We got Group Names like The Dreamers, Neopolitan, The Mighty Rangers, Faith, Team Awesome, Big Dreams, Three Men and a Baby, Middle C, and other groups that I didn’t catch (what was that??).
She’s here… Ellen DeGeneres made her debut in this first episode of Hollywood Week (9th Episode of Season 9) and just as I am expecting, she IS doing great as a judge with a lot of things to say and saying it in a nice way. Of course, there are 181 hopefuls waiting in the Kodak Theater. Randy said that there are some mad talent within, but we’ll see…
