American Idol Top 10 contestants take the stage, while mentoring for tonight’s theme: R&B Soul night is USHER. Like what I’ve said last week, themes are getting tougher and this R&B night is just the start. Only the strongest will survive in this season and what your front runner yesterday might be weakening tomorrow, so nothing is still certain. Here is the recap of your Top 10 American Idol hopefuls…

Right, American Idol is on it’s 9th season and tonight is the result show. Last night, 11 contestants compete but tonight one will go home. The judges still got the “save” option, but it seems that the judges will no longer be using that to Paige since her rendition of “Against All Odds” is so bad that even a “normal person” like me even don’t want to hear it again, LOL! Nothing is so shocking in this elimination since I’m already having names in my head. For unknown reason, Tim Urban is still up there…
This night, American Idol will be letting the Top 11 contestants undergo the “Billboards #1 Hits” theme. This night might be just another entertainment to you but to the contestants, this means a lot. Anyone not doing well tonight might be in danger of going home tomorrow and will not be able to participate in the said Summer Tour. The only beef I got on this night is the fact that Miley Cyrus(!) is the mentor, LOL! What is this girl going to “advice” on the contestants that is even older than her. Sure, she sold a millions of albums and got #1 hit singles, but what she’s saying to “help” these contestants doesn’t really help them, but anyway…
The first contestant to be eliminated from this 9th Season of American Idol’s Top 12 is Lacey Brown. Lacey, 24, simply didn’t impressed the judges with her own rendition of Rolling Stones’ “Ruby Tuesday” last Tuesday Night’s performance episode. Joining with her and the other bottom two were Tim Urban who did “Under My Thumb”, and the pre-school teacher Paige Miles who did “Honky Tonk Woman.” Tim was, for unknown reason, safe and it’s Paige and Lacey left with Seacrest. Unfortunately, it was Lacey’s time to go.
This night American Idol takes the season 9 Top 12 contestants to a bigger stage and let them render their own interpretation on a Rolling Stone themed night. This sounds very interesting, and the result as expected is great, so far. Well, I got my eyes only on two contestants and they didn’t disappoint. Siobhan and Crystal. These girls were like season 7’s “david-vs-david” finale, but everything is still in the air…
Sounds awkward in the first place. American Idol runs eight season and all I know is a ‘wildcard contestant’. For this ninth season, people want a booted contestant back in the show. What’s with this? Petitioners claimed like: “bring back Alex Lambert, he’s the most unique voice in the show”, so? Isn’t it that the public are the one voting for this guy? Even celebrities starts joining thru twitter now and want this guy back in the show, LOL!
