It was yesterday when American Idol revealed the Top 12. Four contestants were out leaving us with 12 contestants still standing. Next week these guys will be performing in a big stage in front of a bigger audience and a Rolling Stones theme. That’s right, the Top 12 hopefuls will be performing songs by Rolling Stones. To me, that already sounds exciting since there are a lot of great classics from the Stones, but we’ll see. It was also surprising that a strong contestant like Lily Scott loose the battle to a very inconsistent Katie Stevens but that’s how it goes around here. This night in American Idol, four people will be eliminated and the show goes on for a prestigious TOP 12. Tonight’s elimination is a big disappointment but what can we do – we’ve seen more shocking eliminations already and this is not a surprise at all. People (myself included) are taking focus on the girls in this season, so whoever goes home from the guys really doesn’t matter – at least to me. LOL!
This night on American Idol, Top 8 guys will be performing, and they should do it right. Otherwise, female contestants like Crystal Bowersox, Siobhan Magnus and Lily Scott will continue to dominate this ninth season.
American Idol aired their 19th episode for this 9th Season and the girls are back in taking the stage first. There are eight girls left, so expect (or not expect) only the best performance since this is a very crucial stage for each contestants. I think in this episode, the highlights were Didi Benami, Crystal Bowersox, and Lily Scott. Siobhan was doing ok, of course, but she’s not a real stand out this night.
American Idol is moving on with it’s second elimination for season 9 (2010) and they’re sending another four contestants home tonight. Leaving this night is John Park, Jermaine Sellers, Michelle Delamor and Haeley Vaughn. These contestants doesn’t surprise me at all. What’s up with Michelle? It seems that the judges keep on praising her rendition of Creed’s “With Arms Wide Open”. I think people just don’t get that, since the normal folks view things differently with the judges, so Michelle goes home tonight.
American Idol team switched the schedules. They’ve moved the boys to perform by Tuesday Night, and moved the girls by Wednesday Night. This is because Crystal Bowersox was hospitalized due to diabetes complications. This is temporary though. Next week, things will be back in its regular schedules.
